Breakfast at Tiffany's - Boneca de Luxo (1961)

Ontem vi o "The Help" e como não estava sozinha a vê-lo tive que me controlar para não chorar. Não é trágico, é um drama e tem partes cómicas. Quando acabou pensei cá para mim "Espero mesmo que façam uma sequela", porque quero saber como ficaram a Aibileen, se a Skeeter encontrou alguém, se a Minny ficou com a Celia, se a Elizabeth deixou de ser amiga da Hilly. Gostei muito do filme e estou desejosa para que haja um segundo filme.

Hoje vi o "Breakfast at Tiffany's" e gostei muito da inocência da Holly ou Lula Mae (Audrey Hepburn), gostei da mimalhice dela, tão querida e amorosa. Percebi que ela não comprava as jóias na Tiffany's mas ia para lá ver as montras. Gostei muito que ela tivesse ficado com Paul e com o seu gato abandonado e sem nome. Aconselho também porque é um clássico e porque apesar de ser muito antigo não é nada enfadonho.

Paul Varjak: The mean reds, you mean like the blues?
Holly Golightly: No. The blues are because you're getting fat and maybe it's been raining too long, you're just sad that's all. The mean reds are horrible. Suddenly you're afraid and you don't know what you're afraid of. Do you ever get that feeling?
Paul Varjak: Sure.
Holly Golightly: Well, when I get it the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany's. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there. If I could find a real-life place that'd make me feel like Tiffany's, then - then I'd buy some furniture and give the cat a name!"
